All KIRK wireless solutions are modular, add-on voice communication solutions. They are (General Access Profile) GAP compliable systems, based on the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) technology, and are compatible with the majority of existing (IP) PBXs.

IP DECT Wireless

With many companies switching over to a Voice over IP network, IP DECT is a unique wireless solution that combines the benefits of IP telephony with the qualities and facilities of the well-established DECT technology. Its secure air interface provides perfect voice quality, seamless handover and supports short messaging. Another strong point is that any standard DECT (GAP) compatible handset can be used, offering companies maximum flexibility. With several hundreds of customers and thousands of end-users worldwide, IP DECT has become a truly proven concept.

The IP DECT access point is compact, easily installed plug-and-play device that adds wireless telephony to IP networks. Simple installation of access points enables infrastructure to be adjusted to an organization’s specific coverage and capacity needs. The Access Points connect directly to an Ethernet LAN and can be powered either externally or via the LAN.
